Jawoll - the classic sock wool that has proven itself millions of times over many years - including reinforcement yarn for the heel and toe for a longer lifespan of your socks! LANGYARNS JAWOLL is the Rolls Royce among sock yarns. The wool comes from the Corriedale sheep. For JAWOLL, we only use the finest provenance from Chilean Patagonia. During shearing, the finest parts of the wool fleece are sorted out. The average thickness, i.e. the average fiber diameter, is only 25 microns (1 micron = 1/1000 millimeter). This makes the wool feel very soft and comfortable to wear. The Corriedale sheep live all year round in the wild nature of Patagonia. Due to the sparse food, their wool remains white and has an average length of 10cm. This makes it easy to dye, the colors become brilliant and the finished yarn is very resistant to pilling (knot formation). Each 50g ball contains a spool of reinforcement yarn to strengthen the heel and toe. This extends the life of your socks. Due to the superior quality and the fineness of the fibers, JAWOLL is also excellent for baby, toddler and men's knitwear.
